2013 Volkswagen Golf GTI

2013 Volkswagen Golf GTI: is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine producing 220 hp in the regular version or 230 hp in the “Performance” version, both with 350 Nm of torque and both having a choice of 6-speed manual or 6-speed “DSG” automanual gearboxes. It is the first time when the Golf GTI is offered in two variants. The base version weighs in at 1,351 kg, a fair bit lighter than the Ford Focus ST. The regular GTI does the 0-100 kph run in 6.5 seconds with a top speed of 246 kph, while the Performance model does it in 6.4 seconds and maxes out at 250 kph.

It features a body kit with a built-in rear diffuser and wider side sills. 2012 BMW 1M Coupe

2012 BMW 1M Coupe: There are three exterior paint finishes to choose from for the BMW 1 Series M Coupe. In addition to Alpine White non-metallic and Black Sapphire Metallic, Valencia Orange Metallic is available exclusively for this compact high-performance sports car. The powerfully shaped front fascia is dominated by three large air intakes which secure cooling air for the high-performance engine.

The wide central air intake is covered by a honeycomb-structured grille, while the two outer intakes are completely open. This means that in every situation on the road or track, a sufficiently large quantity of cooling air is fed directly to the engine oil cooler on the right and to the supplemental coolant radiator on the left. 2014 Toyota Auris

2014 Toyota Auris: The new Auris is 1.2 inches longer overall than its predecessor,  for a still-trim overall length of 168.3, a few inches shorter than the U.S.-market Matrix. And because everyone knows how much the Europeans love wagons, Toyota also introduced the Auris Touring Sports model, which rides on the same 102.4-inch wheelbase as the regular Auris, which coincidentally, is the same wheelbase as the U.S.-spec Matrix hatch, but stretches 11 inches longer, for a 179.5-inch overall length. That puts it roughly within 2 inches of the overall length of the Prius V, which rides on a much longer 109.4-inch wheelbase.

The Auris Touring Sports and the Prius V share the same 1.8-liter, 134 net hp hybrid powertrain. The hybrid powertrain is also available on the regular Auris, in addition to a 1.4-liter diesel, and 1.3-liter and 1.6-liter gasoline four-cylinder engines. Toyota claims improved fuel economy for all models across-the-board, facilitated by a lower ride height, improved aerodynamics, and auto stop-start on the 1.3-liter gas and 1.4-liter diesel engines.

2014 Toyota Furia

2014 Toyota Furia: One of those is the Toyota Furia Concept, paving the way for the 2014 Toyota Corolla compact car. Corollas aren't often vehicles to get animated over, but on looks alone the next generation of Toyota's biggest seller could be one to wait for. “The Corolla Furia Concept is an early indicator of where our compact car design may lead in the future,” hinted Bill Fay, group vice president and general manager of the Toyota Division, adding the car "...will surprise a lot of people."

He isn't wrong there. Taking styling cues from other recent Toyota concepts, the Furia's deep grille, four-square stance and wide light band spanning the front end imply much more dynamism than the current car. The look is confident but still clearly a vehicle from the Toyota stable. From the front three-quarters it has the look of a hatchback, yet the Furia is a sedan and the rear end features the same athletic, squat appearance that has recently infused Lexus production models.
