2015 Chevrolet Suburban

The new 2015 Suburban, Chevy has turned to some traditional touches big shoulders, big V-8 engines, big towing capacity and some crossover cues like fold-flat rear seats, to bring the Suburban into the same modern family as the recently revamped Chevy Silverado 1500 pickup truck. Chevy says the new Suburban doesn't share any sheetmetal panels with the Silverado, but like its close kin the 2015 Chevy Tahoe SUV and the 2015 GMC Yukon--the Silverado's roots are common to the big new SUV, from its frame construction to its V-8 powertrain. While GMC puts all its full-size SUVs under one umbrella, the Suburban leaves the short-wheelbase duties to the Chevy Tahoe.

The long-wheelbase model in Chevy's portfolio is 130 inches long in wheelbase--as it was in the previous generation and more than 220 inches long overall, slightly stretched from the last Suburban. Tradition is the keyword for the Suburban's new styling: it's a highly angular, creased-and-pressed look. Still, GM says the design is more aerodynamic than the 2007-2014 Suburban. The interior's where the conservative movement takes a breather: it's a suavely sculpted place, with a large touchscreen interface for audio controls, and a curved console countering the square-jawed exterior. 2015 Chevy Equinox

2015 Chevy Equinox: The 2015 Chevrolet Equinox is expected to lose some size compared to current model of this crossover. Its predecessor was one of the largest SUV in the class. This process is not so simple, but it is expected that company will succeed in its plans. One thing is certain that lose on the weight is inevitable because of the use of new, lighter materials.  This will take the 2015 Equinox to the new, better performance level, and of course, it will boost fuel economy rate. Even with seizing of the space, this SUV will still be comfortable and pleasant for both passengers and driver and there will be enough space for cargo.

There is no much info about drivetrains. From what we heard, base models of the 2015 Chevy Equinox will be packed with 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine which will generate 182 horsepower and also 172 lb-ft of torque power. Other option will be 2.5-liter four-cylinder for other versions. Equinox’ first showing was back in 2004 and it has major redesign in 2009. In 2014 year model, Equinox get restyled and it performance was upgraded, especially its fuel economy. For the 2015 year, exterior will be revisited. Source

2012 Chevy Cruze ECO

2012 Chevy Cruze ECO: While we like the idea of the 42-mpg Eco and we love its fuel economy, we're pretty sure its biggest competition lies with the rest of the Cruze lineup. There is a growing range of fuel efficient, 40-mpg cars selling at the same price-point, from the Honda Insight hybrid to the aforementioned Focus and Elantra. While the Eco compares well with all of them  heck, it does boast the highest highway mileage number of any vehicle powered exclusively by a conventional internal combustion engine  the mileage improvements to the other Cruze trims make the Eco less compelling on its own.

The automatic Cruze LT and LTZ models for 2012 saw a bump in fuel economy, and now come close to the automatic Eco at 26/38, giving up just a single mile per gallon on the highway. Also worth noting is that LT Cruzes are now being offered with a standard manual transmission (meaning the automatic is now $995 extra). This is the very same gearbox as in the base model, without the overdrive gearing of the Eco. In this application it gives the Cruze a fuel economy rating of 26/38 – equivalent to the automatic and, again, only a mile per gallon behind the Eco automatic.
