Two engines are available with a V6 and a V8. V6 is a 3.6-liter engine that produces 312 horsepower, an increase of eight from a 2010 model. It is available in LS and LT.
The V8 SS is used, which has seen few changes for 2013. SS versions with a manual transmission get a 426-horsepower 6.2-liter V8. Automatic-equipped SS models also get a 6.2-liter V8 engine, but has 400 horsepower and fuel management features GM’s cylinder deactivation assets. V6 models also offer manual or automatic transmission. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, traction control, front airbags, side airbags and side curtain airbags.
