2013 Hummer H2 Kompressor: The GeigerCars Hummer H2 Kompressor has received a supercharger which takes the power output up to 547 PS at 5900 rpm and 763 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm. With the new found juice, the GeigerCars Hummer H2 Kompressor can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and can run as fast as 228 km/h. The GeigerCars Hummer H2 Kompressor is also fitted with all the bling a rap artist could think of: 30-inch chrome rims, a brown and crème-beige color combination, Alcantara and leather and a DVD player with a roof-mounted monitor.

The GeigerCars Hummer H2 Kompressor also comes with Brembo brakes, a stainless steel sports exhaust system, additional stabilizers, rear axle struts and adjustable sports shock absorbers and a lowered ride height. The market for American cars has fallen into a sort of lethargy since the insolvency of Chrysler and General Motors. Vehicles like the new Cadillac CTS-V or the new Camaro only find their way over the big pond on the initiative of specialized dealers. But despite the crisis and the uncertain future of the American automobile industry, the fan base has not shrunk at all, in contrary the US car scene is as lively as ever.

2013 Honda Fit

2013 Honda Fit: The Fit, a vehicle based on the Jazz will add to Honda’s of portfolio of green cars. It is powered by a 20 kWh lithium-ion battery and a 92 kiloWatt coaxial electric motor and is rated at 123 city-mile per charge (76 mile range combined adjusted city/highway). As in the CR-Z, it will have a 3- mode electric drive system; Econ, Normal and Sport. The 6.6 kW, onboard 32 amp charger allows for convenient recharging and with a 240-volt charger, full charge can be obtained in 3 hours.

Honda being Honda have not sacrificed the Fit’s utilitarian intent, it seats 5 passengers and offers multiple cargo-carrying configurations. The standard telematics system allows the driver to stay connected through a smartphone, personal computer or interactive remote allowing him or her to view or modulate the vehicles state of charge, initiate charging and activate the air conditioning and heater, to pre-condition the vehicle while connected to the grid which maximises battery range on start-up. The Fit EV is poised to hit US markets by the summer of 2012.

2013 Toyota Avalon: The new 2013 Avalon is the result of a North American-focused design and engineering effort. The new sedan's dramatic exterior and interior design was conceived by a youthful and talented team at the Calty Design Research Inc. facilities in Southern California and Michigan. The car's engineering development was principally led by a passionate and dedicated group based at Toyota Technical Center in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Continuing a North American focused theme, the 2013 Avalon will be assembled at Toyota's facility in Georgetown, Ky. True to the future product mission set forth by Toyota Motor Corporation President, Akio Toyoda, the new Avalon's more stylish, bold, sporty exterior design and luxurious interior styling are matched by an enhanced dynamic package, a combination that foreshadows the more compelling and passionate nature of future Toyota products.

2013 Ford Explorer

2013 Ford Explorer: with its dramatic looks and somewhat less inspiring performance, has been due a truly potent version, some might say, since the V-8 of the last model died with it. As Ford's solution to the V-8 power requirement while delivering (slightly) better fuel economy, the V-6 EcoBoost engine makes good sense. Those with an eye to minimizing the Explorer's thirst already have a good option, however: the smaller EcoBoost brother, the 2.0-liter four-cylinder. 

Rated at 28 mpg highway, that smaller EcoBoost engine is on the very efficient end of the spectrum for conventional crossover SUVs. The larger direct-injection 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 won't deliver such friendly figures, but those with a taste for power will find the tradeoff sweet: 350 horsepower in place of 240. Driving all four wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission, it's basically an Explorer SHO especially since the Explorer and Taurus share some of their architecture as well.
