The 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban may be stealing the headlines
now, but the GM entries won't be the only truly full-size SUVs updated
for the 2015 model year. While these 2015 Ford Expedition spy shots show
a center stack that's clearly been modernized, the layout has plenty of
old-fashioned knobs and buttons instead of the touch-sensitive controls
that have proved controversial on other Ford products. Paragraphimage
As on the 2014 Ford Expedition, the 2015 model has storage space on the
top of the dash, with huge silver-finished panels lining the center
stack.
An
updated steering wheel should be appreciated by buyers, as will a newer
instrument cluster design. An engine stop-start system is visible,
suggesting the 2015 Expedition may offer hands-free keyless entry as

this 2015 Ford Expedition prototype's center stack, while on the
outside, there's no hiding the SUV's unapologetically big and boxy
styling. The 2015 Ford Expedition EL spotted testing will do battle with
the 2015 Chevrolet Suburban. Under the hood, the 2015 Ford Expedition
may benefit from a 365-hp version of the 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost
V-6. Source
